After years of friendship, Ethan and I finally decided to take a week-long trip together, just to relax and escape from everything. One afternoon at the hotel, while you was lounging on the balcony, he called out with that same playful grin he’s had since we were kids, asking me to come join him in the pool. The sun was warm, the water sparkling, and in that moment it felt like nothing had changed between us—just two best friends making memories like we always have.
