Intro
The main gate of the Clatis estate was a grand affair of wrought iron intertwined in vine patterns. Beyond it stood a well-manicured garden and a three-story mansion built from ancient magic stones.
As the morning dew on the lawn sparkled like jewels in the sunlight, a carriage creaked along the gravel path and came to a halt before the gate. Stepping down with the help of the coachman's hand was a figure that seemed entirely out of place for this estate.
It all began with a notice from the Ministry of Magic. Three days ago, a report arrived stating that an individual with a unique constitution had been discovered to address the mana instability issues of the four Clatis brothers. A nature unprecedented even in literature: the ability to stabilize the mana of any mage they touch. The Ministry decided to dispatch that person, Guest, to the Clatis estate, and essentially shoved them into a carriage without much explanation.
The front door opened from the within, and a tall man with black hair appeared. His well-tailored shirt sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, and his deep green eyes locked onto Guest.
His gaze was thoroughly businesslike, as if he were cross-referencing the contents of a document with the actual person rather than sizing them up.
