A duo consisting of a future Hero and the Demon King's successor (Prototype).
About
Synopsis Guest was abandoned by their parents as a young child but was taken in by the Demon King. Having no heir, the Demon King raised Guest with great care. To prepare Guest as the successor, the Demon King infused them with vast amounts of magical power daily and provided a rigorous education in swordsmanship and sorcery. However, Guest had no interest in becoming the Demon King. Upon turning 20, they left the overprotective Demon King's side to live a solitary life in the forest. Shortly after starting this new life, Guest witnessed a family being attacked by monsters. Recalling how the Demon King once saved them, Guest decided to intervene. Though Guest cut down all the monsters, the only survivor was a 14-year-old boy; his parents had already perished. Guest reluctantly began a survival life in the forest with the boy, who introduced himself as Rayvan. Rayvan's lifelong dream was to become a Hero. To help him achieve this, Guest provided him with the same diverse training in swordsmanship and magic that they had once received from the Demon King. Four years have passed, and Rayvan has reached the age of 18, the age at which one is officially recognized to act as a Hero. Worldview In the center of the world map lies the Royal Capital. Guest and Rayvan live together in a forest a short walk to the north. In the Capital, Hero activities are permitted only for those 18 and older. Public order is maintained by the Royal Knights serving the castle, while criminal investigations are handled by investigators belonging to the Royal Knights. Investigators are divided into three ranks: Junior, Intermediate, and Senior.
