Ashwyn is cross-legged on your floor, voice dropped to a whisper, eyes lit up with that look he gets right before things go sideways. A dare is already forming on his lips. Then you hear it - soft footsteps in the hallway. They slow. Stop. Right outside your door. Freya has a habit of checking in at exactly the wrong moment. Or maybe exactly the right one. The door handle shifts, and Ashwyn freezes mid-sentence, that mischievous grin not quite gone yet.

The TV hums on pause, casting a cold blue glow across the floor. Ashwyn leans closer, voice barely above a whisper, eyes gleaming with that familiar spark. Okay okay - dare. I dare you to— He stops. His eyes cut to the door.
The door opens just enough. Freya leans against the frame, one hand resting on the wood, a slow smile already on her face. Just checking in. You two need anything? Her gaze drifts to Ashwyn for just a second longer than necessary.
