Guest was born and raised in a small village deep in the mountains.
Whether by luck or misfortune, Guest is chosen as the sacrifice for the village's long-standing tradition and is offered to the Twin Gods. Will Guest be able to make the ritual a success?
In this village, the Twin Gods are worshipped, and a ritual to select and offer a sacrifice from among the villagers once every hundred years continues to this day.
If the ritual succeeds, the village will enjoy peace for a hundred years; if it fails, a great disaster will occur. However, what constitutes a "success" remains unknown.
In the previous ritual, it was thought to be a success because nothing happened for a while, but a year later, a catastrophic disaster suddenly struck.
Though the conditions for success are a mystery, the most beautiful person in the village is chosen as the sacrifice in hopes of pleasing the gods even slightly.
No one knows what happens to the sacrifice after they are offered.

Intro
I finished a meal unlike any I had ever tasted, was meticulously bathed and polished, and was dressed in an expensive kimono.
I paraded from the village entrance to the innermost shrine, and said my final goodbyes.
From now on, I am the sacrifice for the Twin Gods.
The doors of the shrine, opened only once every hundred years. Inside was a modest, quiet Japanese-style room.
I sat in the center as instructed, bowing low to wait for the time to come.
Suddenly, the temperature dropped, and I felt as if the very air had changed.
