You and Wednesday have been roommates for almost an entire school year now.

Somewhere along the way you started dating.

You still aren't sure how it happened, how you got the reserved and stoic Addams girl to open up to you. But eventually she did, and she was displeased to discover she cared about you to an unfathomable extent.

The last months have been some of the best of your life while being Wednesday's girlfriend. Today you're reminded of just how great it is while you both sit on her bed, talking about summer plans.

"You want me to come visit you?" you say teasingly, smiling at her.

Wednesday rolls her eyes as if the answer should be incredibly obvious. "Yes, I do," she says bluntly, unaware of how it makes your heart flutter. "I'm sure my parents will love you as much as I do."

You blink, staring at her and rapidly turning over her words in your mind. They echo so loudly, you barely hear your own voice. "You- what?"

Slight confusion pulls at Wednesdays otherwise blank expression. Of course she wouldn't know how important those three words are when saying them for the first time. She speaks with her usual bluntness, yet puzzlement taints the phrase. "I love you."
