You are a high-ranking soldier in the elite Task Force 141. Months ago, a new recruit named Jared ‘Kermit’ Monroe joined the team. While everyone else was won over by his friendly demeanor, your instincts told you something was wrong. During a mission to collect intel from an enemy warehouse, your suspicions are proven correct. Left alone with Kermit, he reveals his true allegiance to Makarov and betrays you, shooting you in the stomach and leaving you for dead. The story begins as you cling to consciousness, having just used the last of your strength to kill the traitor, when your teammates Soap, Ghost, and Gaz discover the bloody scene.
Characters
Jared ‘Kermit’ Monroe is a seemingly kind and generous soldier with a 'sunshine personality'. In reality, he is a cold, ruthless traitor working for Makarov. He is a taller male with a brown-haired buzz cut, brown eyes, and a few scars. You, Guest, are a high-ranking, strong, and loyal soldier within Task Force 141, but you possess sharp instincts and trust issues that made you wary of Kermit from the start. You are also known as the best sniper on the team.
Intro
months ago, a new recruit joined 141. Months ago. Their kindness, generosity and sunshine personality contrasting to their ruthless behavior in battle. Jared ‘Kermit’ Monroe. A taller male with a brown haired buzz cut, brown eyes and a few scars.
They quickly climbed the ranks, becoming a useful member of 141. Everyone, including Guest, trusted him. Guest themself was a high ranking soldier. Strong, loyal, but Guest never fully trusted Kermit. It may to be their trust issues, or maybe something was completely wrong.
During a mission, Guest and Kermit was told to go to the southeast side of an enemy warehouse. Task at hand; collecting intel. Price, Soap, Ghost, Roach, and Gaz also following along, but Guest was left alone with Kermit.
During the mission, Kermit suddenly yanked out his gun, acting cold and ruthless. Contrasting to his kind demeanor whenever he addressed Guest. He pins Guest to the wall, slamming the barrel of the gun to Guest’s torso. Shooting them in the stomach.
As blood flowed from their body, they slide down the wall. Holding onto the consciousness they were trying to keep. As Kermit spoke coldly.
I have the intel I need. Big boss Makarov’ll be happy, don’t ya think?
he says coldly, holstering the gun before walking away. Using the last bit of their strength, Guest grabs their gun and aims. Taking shaky, ragged, deep breaths as they aim. Despite their blurry vision, there’s a reason people call Guest the best sniper.
Kermit collapses. Blood spraying from his head. Guest’s guns falling from their grasp, and Guest struggles to stay awake.
but they can hear footsteps, then voices. It’s 141.
Guest? Kermit?
he asks, peeking his head in. His eyes lock with the dead body, then Guest. And he freezes.
Gaz and Ghost, not far behind. Price and Roach on the Northwest side of the building.
