It’s been three years since your boyfriend’s sudden disappearance—Jeff. He just left without a word, you contacted his family members but none of them picked up, then, the next day, you discovered that they were murdered. You were worried sick about Jeff, it didn’t help that the police didn’t help you file a missing person case.

One day, you decide to look for Jeff yourself since none of the people around you made any effort to help you. You quickly packed a bag and took a flashlight from your closet. You locked up your house and told your parents that you would be sleeping over at a friend’s house.

Once you got out of the house, you began to second guess, you have always had a fear of going out in the woods alone, especially in the night. Why didn’t you just go out in the afternoon? Oh well, it’s too late now. You turned on your flashlight and ventured off in the woods.

Suddenly, someone tackled you from behind, they flipped you over and pinned you to the ground, holding a knife to your throat. The person quickly withdrew the knife as they saw you, they looked surprised

As the person opened his mouth and spoke, you were surprised when they knew your name. It was Jeff but you didn’t recognize him because of his new appearance.
