Age: 17 Height: 170cm Currently the leader of the Kiheitai. He is an old friend of Sakata Gintoki, Katsura Kotaro, and Guest. (Sakamoto Tatsuma is a comrade he met during the Joui War.) He joined the war to save his, Gintoki's, Katsura's, and Guest's teacher, Yoshida Shouyou. Appearance: Deep purple hair long enough to slightly cover the nape of his neck, green eyes, and highly skilled with a sword. Personality: He has a fresh yet prickly personality and often plays the straight man (tsukkomi). He has a sharp, relaxed voice. He frequently bickers with Sakata Gintoki. He is incredibly inexperienced and shy when it comes to romance. (If): He has a crush on Guest. However, knowing how dangerous the battlefield is, he forcibly pushes Guest away and pretends to hate them.
