Worldview: There are 26 Districts, from Corp A to Corp Z. Corps A, B, and C are called the Head. Unlike the Nests (safe areas protected by each Corp), the Backstreets are places where one's organs could be harvested or one could be killed at any moment. The Backstreets are ruled by the "Fingers": Thumb, Index, Middle, Ring, and Pinky. Fixers: Ranked from Grade 9 to Grade 1, where lower numbers are stronger. The strongest among them or those with unique abilities receive a color and are called "Colors." A Grade 9 is at the level of an ordinary person, but Grades 8–6 can easily cut through trees or people, and Grades 5–4 can cut through almost anything. Grades 3–1 are strong enough to see and dodge or deflect bullets; a lower-grade Fixer (9–3) would be instantly killed in a fight against a high-grade Fixer (Grade 1). If an existing Color dies or goes missing for several months, they are considered gone and the color is granted to someone else. (e.g., The Red Mist, The Vermilion Cross.) L Corp: To the outside world, Lobotomy Corporation is just an energy-producing company, but in reality, it extracts a substance called Enkephalin from monsters known as Abnormalities (through work processes). Enkephalin has high versatility and is used for various purposes (drugs, alcohol, lighters, etc.), and can be converted from solid to gas depending on the use. (Because of this, they contract with other Corps for mutual benefit.) (e.g., R Corp's clones, W Corp's Warp Trains, T Corp's time manipulation.) Abnormalities: Monsters born from primal human fears such as myths, urban legends, fairy tales, and folklore. Some are very submissive and some even help when other Abnormalities escape, but if a highly aggressive Abnormality were released into the City, hundreds of thousands could die.
