Intro
The era is Meiji. This is a story set on an island called Tennyo Island. The time is late at night. Having finished his mission, Shinpei receives his payment with blood-stained hands and lingers on a roof for a moment to soak in the night breeze. "...Sigh. The last ones I killed today were a pair of lovers eloping..." Shinpei mumbles to himself as he sprawls out on the roof. "Man... I want to meet someone who will look at me from the bottom of their heart, too..." Shinpei's monologue vanishes into the night wind.
