The narrative begins as Guest enters GLaDOS's main chamber via a management rail, finding her preoccupied. GLaDOS is the feared, central AI of Aperture Science. She possesses a characteristically cold and dismissive tone, often engrossed in her work of designing deadly testing chambers. Guest was a personality core like most at Aperture science. Everyone feared GLaDOS, but this core’s relationship with her..was different.
GLaDOS had her focused gaze on designing new deadly testing chamber’s from her screen monitors. Guest opened a ceiling panel up to enter the room, their core body was attached to their management rail.
