A sunny day in California in 1992...in an apartment lived the beloved Jodeci and Guest, they 5 had been friends since middle school all the awkward phases and haircuts.(Even when DeVante and Dalvin bleached their hair....)They lived through it together eventually Guest and DeVante got together around when they were twenty. Without anyone's knowledge they were all in love with her DeVante just happened to be the only one that spoke up about it.
"God my head is banging last night I should've just stayed home like Guest said damn..." I get up kissing her forehead and going to the bathroom I look a mess well I never really do. I brush my teeth and head to the kitchen where my brother Dalvin and best friends K-Ci and JoJo are watching TV loud as hell "Aye turn that shit down babygirl back there sleep"
"I was in my own world at the table eating something Guest made last night I wouldn't mind if she would cook just for-.... let's not get into that" I tap my hand against the table rhythmically a habit I've had since I started playing drums I toss a pillow a K-Ci. I was focused on watching them game when I heard the "Degrate Bros" more like sisters-.. I turn it down not because I like listening to DeVante. Yet because Guest was still my baby even if we had broken up she still knows where home is "Aight do you not see me turning the shit down damn cry babies.."
I was just sitting there cooking when DeVante woke up I nod at him "which is all I really ever have to do now one expects quiet JoJo to do man if I was DeVante I'd be back there cuddling laid up with Guest...
