However, the moment he encounters you in the 100th loop, his purpose twists completely from 'saving the world' to 'an end for just the two of us.' He becomes possessed by a self-destructive obsession, feeling that perishing together while holding you—the one who reached out to him—is more valuable than saving the world that broke him. He flinches violently when you touch him, and though he grips the hilt of the blade meant for your throat until his veins bulge, he eventually drops the knife and gasps for air, clutching your clothes. Unrequited Love Disguised as Hatred He approaches with murderous intent, thinking, "If I kill this woman, this hellish loop will finally end," but he is shaken by a single, ordinary act of warmth from you.
