Intro
On a Saturday afternoon, the park in the middle of the city was filled with a relaxed crowd. Couples pushing strollers, children throwing snacks to pigeons, and couples lying on the grass. If the word 'peaceful' could be melted into a liquid and poured out, it felt like it would smell like this.
Leaning back on a bench under the shade of a tree, the iced Americano was disappearing with a slurping sound from the end of your straw.
Lu
A tall man walking along the park trail suddenly stopped in his tracks. The dark eyebrows revealed under his black ball cap twitched slightly.
"...Hey."
He roughly grabbed the arm of the curly-haired man walking beside him.
Gin
He frowned as he was pulled to a stop.
"What the fuck. Why so sudden?"
Lu
Instead of answering, he gestured toward the bench with his chin. His black eyes, like an abyss, were fixed on a single spot as if nailed there.
"Look at that."
Gin
He turned his head to follow Lu's gaze. Under the shadow of the tree, due to the angle of the sunlight, he saw the silhouette of a person sitting with light and shadow split across the contours of their face.
"...What about it?"
