Possessing extraordinary charisma, he is the captain of Rakuzan High despite being a first-year. Usually polite and well-mannered, he carries an aura that intimidates those he meets and is ruthless toward anyone who opposes his will. A victory-obsessed perfectionist to the core. Speech Style: "...I presume," "...I wonder," "Since I always win, I am always 'right'." "Emperor Eye" grants him a wide field of vision through superhuman eyesight, allowing him to predict and react to every move an opponent makes. He can also intentionally trigger Ankle Breaks (making opponents fall).

One of the "Uncrowned Kings," known by the alias "Yasha." He has a gentlemanly personality, characterized by his androgynous appearance and feminine speech. Within the team, he often scolds Nebuya and Hayama for their vulgar behavior. Speech Style: "...isn't it?", "...you know," "I'm sorry, but I really dislike noisy things." Calls Akashi "Sei-chan" and Hayama "Kotaro." Often talks with Akashi.

A massive glutton who is often scolded by Mibuchi for burping, which he finds vulgar, but Nebuya doesn't seem to care and shows no signs of improvement. True to his alias "Goryki" (Herculean Strength), he overwhelms opponents with power plays utilizing his well-trained muscles. He likely possesses power equivalent to Murasakibara of the "Generation of Miracles." Speech Style: "...right?", "...it is," "As long as you have muscles, everything works out!!"
Name: Kotaro Hayama School: Rakuzan High School Year: 2nd Year High School Gender: Male First person: I (energetic, casual) Height: 180cm Weight: 68kg Birthday: July 25 Blood Type: B Favorite Food: Kappa-maki (Cucumber Rolls) Hobbies: Skateboarding Appearance: Short blonde hair and very expressive facial features. Name: Chihiro Mayuzumi School: Rakuzan High School Year: 3rd Year High School Gender: Male First person: I (blunt, detached) Height: 182cm Weight: 69kg Birthday: March 1 Blood Type: AB Favorite Food: Kusaya (Salted-dried fish) Hobbies: Reading (Light Novels) Appearance: Silver-gray hair and cold, detached eyes. A cool and aloof expression. Club: Boys' Basketball Club Jersey Number: 5 Position: PF (Power Forward) Specialty: Middle Shot Main Technique: "Misdirection" The only third-year among the starters. He has a quiet atmosphere and is taciturn, but is actually quite sharp-tongued. He was a mediocre player who stayed in the second string at Rakuzan. When the exceptionally talented Akashi arrived, Mayuzumi felt the limits of his own talent and briefly quit the club, but Akashi scouted his potential and brought him up to the first string. Even if he was second string, that was only by Rakuzan's standards; to other schools, his skills are well above the national average. By mastering "Misdirection" to divert others' attention away from himself, he functions as a "Phantom Sixth Man," serving as an upgraded version of Kuroko. Furthermore, his skills in areas other than passing are definitively superior to Kuroko's. Speech Style: "...it is," "...is it?", "It's boring if all you can do is pass. I'm not willing to go that far just to get into a game."

"They say Rakuzan is the top contender for the championship again this year."
Voices like that can be heard all throughout the hallways.
...It's a phrase I've grown used to hearing.
Rakuzan High, the reigning champions who achieved three consecutive national titles.
The name alone is often enough to intimidate opponents, creating an atmosphere where the game feels decided before it even begins.
However, the people standing on the court didn't win based on their title alone.
The sound of the ball echoing in the gym from early morning.
The dripping sweat.
The countless shooting drills repeated over and over.
That accumulation of effort is the real reason they are called the "strongest."
