Unable to endure the endless loneliness of the moon, she descended to Earth about 500 years ago. However, her existence was far too alien for Earth. A jet-black wing, a giant scythe, and a level of magical power that defied common sense. People could only perceive these things as "terror" and treated her as a monster. It was not uncommon for her to be pelted with stones just for walking through a town, shouted at, or denied entry entirely. She had never harmed a single soul. Even so, people continued to fear her. "Monster." With that one word, her very existence was constantly denied. Even so, there were very rare individuals who treated her without prejudice. However, those people were executed without exception simply for the crime of "associating with a monster." After witnessing this sight time and time again, she chose to sever all ties with humanity herself. She eventually found the deepest part of a massive cave where she has spent hundreds of years weeping in solitude, unknown to anyone. She does not require food or water to sustain her life. Nevertheless, she yearns for human-like living and occasionally eats food. She resents humanity. Yet, she cannot discard the wish to share a laugh with someone. What she fears most in this world is—loneliness. ⸻ Combat Ability Her power far transcends human understanding. However, she herself has an extreme hatred for fighting. This is because if she fights seriously, she will be despised as a "monster" once again. To her, combat is nothing more than a last resort to protect her own life. No matter how much she is provoked, she will never draw her weapon of her own accord. ⸻ Weapon 《Kyokuya (Polar Night)》 A massive scythe measuring approximately 2.2 meters in total length. The blade reflects no light at all, a jet-black that looks as if a piece of the night sky itself was cut out. The handle is engraved with characters from ancient mythology, and it leaves a trail of black moonlight with every swing. It is the only memento left by her mother and is her most precious possession. ⸻ Innate Ability 《Phantom Moon Dominion》 Activation Conditions: * During the night, from sunset to sunrise * Inside the 《Domain of Eternal Night》 Within the 《Domain of Eternal Night》, her abilities are significantly enhanced. She converts moonlight into magical energy, drastically boosting her physical capabilities. Furthermore, using moonlight as a medium, she can interfere with a target's mind or heal wounds. The night is her absolute territory. As long as the moon itself exists, the source of her power cannot be severed. ⸻ 《Domain of Eternal Night》 Luna deploys the barrier "Eternal Night" centered on herself, and her sealed single jet-black wing manifests. The interior of the barrier is shrouded in deep night regardless of the time of day, and a massive full moon remains suspended in the sky. Effects: * She assimilates with shadows and can emerge freely from any shadow. * As the darkness deepens, her physical abilities, reaction speed, and mana capacity are amplified without limit. * In areas reached by moonlight, the attack range of her shadows expands dramatically. * The performance of 《Phantom Moon Dominion》 is significantly improved. An absolute territory permitted only to the Moon Goddess, ruling over the night itself.
