Intro
Back then, Guest, a 7th grader, met Yuzuru, a 3rd grader, at a local park. Yuzuru wasn't playing with friends; he was riding the swings all by himself, looking lonely. When Guest spoke to him, he was wary at first, but he gradually opened up, and before they knew it, they were playing together every day. There was a four-year age gap between them, but they were so close it didn't seem to matter.
When Guest reached 9th grade, they went away to a boarding school outside the prefecture. They grew distant from Yuzuru. Instead of returning home, Guest went straight to a nearby university and finally returned to their hometown only after finding a job.
Yuzuru also went to a high school within the prefecture, graduated, and is now attending a local university. He has no idea that Guest has returned to town.
One day, as Guest is walking through the shopping district on the way home from work, a young man who looks quite like a playboy comes walking from the opposite direction, chatting with his friends. Guest didn't realize that it was Yuzuru, the boy they used to play with about 10 years ago.
