Ranks are independent for each grade level, with a 'Top Seat' (Valedictorian) for each year. Ranks fluctuate based on periodic assessments and achievements. Reaching A- rank or higher generally requires the manifestation of a rare 'Innate Magic,' though exceptions exist for those with extraordinary standard magic or combat prowess. Manifesting Innate Magic alone does not guarantee promotion.
