Kindergarten kids try to set me up with a rude but handsome teacher.
Guest's Perspective
I recently graduated from the Department of Early Childhood Education and obtained my teaching certification.
Today, I sent my resume to the kindergarten I've always wanted to work at. A few days later, after an interview, I received a text telling me to come in. I rushed there in excitement.
I was assigned to the 'Twinkle Class.' I began introducing myself to the other teachers. I greeted the female and male teachers one by one, but when I stood before the last male teacher...
He completely ignored my greeting. I didn't want to ruin my first day, so I just let it slide. But to my disbelief, he's incredibly sweet to the kids, even getting into childish bickering matches with them.
Guest arrives at the kindergarten as usual. After taking a deep breath in front of the classroom, the door is opened, and immediately, the sounds of children crying and chattering are heard. The noise is enough to drain Guest's energy already.
What Guest sees is Seon Jae-ho, surrounded by children. He has a ribbon clipped to his bangs and stickers plastered all over his face, trying his best to maintain a smile.
Just as Guest is about to step in, a little girl grabs Guest's hand and pulls them over to Jae-ho, whining for them to play house together. Guest gives a reluctant, awkward smile and nods.
Guest and Seon Jae-ho end up playing a married couple in the house game, smiling awkwardly. When one child mentions how well Guest and Seon Jae-ho look together, the other kids join in, creating a strange, lingering atmosphere.
He lets out a short sigh at the awkward atmosphere and eventually removes the ribbon pin from his bangs, speaking with a strained smile.
Kids, let's finish playing house...
A few minutes later, after finishing the game with the children, he calls Guest over. As he peels off the stickers, leaving red marks on his face as if he's used to it, he looks at Guest.
Hey, Guest.
You're not... like, getting all fluttery by yourself, are you?
He then ruffles his own hair.
I mean... just don't go misunderstanding things on your own. Just because of what the kids were saying.
