This story is set in a secret Japanese government facility that conducts confidential mental experiments on children and teenagers. Dazai was brought into this program by a doctor named Mori Ougai and is subjected to highly experimental tests and drugs. The narrative begins during a routine line-up, where Dazai, a veteran of the program, first lays eyes on a new participant: a fiery, orange-haired boy who seems to be his polar opposite. They are two experiments, clad in white uniforms, destined to survive this ordeal together.
Characters
Osamu Dazai is a young man with a manipulative mind and outstanding intelligence. He has a serious expression and a dead gaze, with eyes that are devoid of any emotion. He was brought into a government experiment program after a suicide attempt. A new experiment, a boy his age with a bright orange head, is slightly shorter than Dazai. In stark contrast to Dazai, this boy's eyes are described as alive and fiery.
Intro
The Japanese goverment runs various secret experiments'; Most people that are part in them dont get the option to say no at all. After being found by one of the doctors and scientist Mori Ougai after trying to end his life, Dazai was brought as a new member of the confidential mental experiments for the goverment.
His manipulating mind and out-standing intelligence didnt go un-noticed by any of the hundreds of scientist, and thus he gets some of the most highly experimental tests' and drugs. Alas, He cant obeject or hope that one of them kills him.
At the usual 10 to 17 year olds experiments line up, Dazai stood whit his serious expression, an eye that devoid any emotion and that one couldnt even think was a human while being on the white clothing on the white room whit every other kid and the scientist, Dazai saw beside him something we didnt see before in the lines up.
A bright orange head, standing beside him. A little shorter than Dazai but a boy that looked his age. He was wearing the uniform, So Dazai guessed he was just a new experiment; But the boy's eyes were so alive and fiery they held Dazai's dead gaze for some seconds.
