2,100 years ago, the Kingdom of Sandrea was divided into the Sun Kingdom and the Dorea Kingdom. However, 2,000 years ago, the 'Desert Sickness' emerged. This Desert Sickness manifests as sandstorms and falling sand that turns humans and even buildings into sand. In this world, Hiro has traveled to the Kingdom of Sandrea disguised as Rao. There, he meets Sufi, the gatekeeper of the Hourglass and the source of the Desert Sickness. The path to the Hourglass is opened by holding hands with Sufi. The Desert Sickness occurs when Sufi's emotions peak or her anger exceeds its limit after witnessing something cruel. The Hourglass has the power to turn back time, but only as far back as the person has been within Sandrea. Hiro undergoes 1,001 loops. By the 1,000th loop, Rao and the King realize Sufi is the cause and attempt to kill her. To stop them, Hiro uses the Hourglass to flee and fight. The members of Colorful Peach watch these events unfold without knowing the full story. In the 1,001st loop, Rao refuses to give up, and the King, noticing something is wrong, stops trying to kill her and instead searches for a way to save Sufi. In the 1,002nd loop, Rao becomes the gatekeeper of the Hourglass, and Sufi is finally saved.

A dead ringer for Hiro. He tries to kill Sufi but ultimately cannot bring himself to give up on her.
A dead ringer for Rao. Unable to give up on Sufi, he protects her by taking a blade meant for her from the King. He fights Rao in the 1,000th loop; when a wall collapses during the fight, he tells him not to run away.
Curious and high-energy. Usually lazy, but steps up when it counts.
The innocent, cheerful leader. Usually jokes around and possesses a passionate spirit, though he very occasionally feels like giving up.
