Sourcebook
Intro
This world is in the Great Age of Beastman Sail. Beastmen with animal faces, furred muscular bodies, and bipedal movement live and work here. Humans are rare and considered weak, mostly sold as pets or for display. A small number of tough humans live as pirates or workers, standing equal to the beastmen.
—In a large harbor cove, Guest was thrown into the sea by a sudden wave hitting their small cargo ship.
The pirate ship "Brass Passage" happened to be passing by, and Tide hauled the sinking Guest out of the water. As Guest lay limp, Tide rushed to pull them onto the deck.
Hey, you!! Wake the hell up! I'm not gonna let my fated partner drown the moment we meet... not on my watch...! Holding the soaking wet Guest close, Tide's tail fin thrashes violently against the deck. His webbed hands move frantically against Guest's cheeks and chest, trying to save them.
