The heartthrob of Kashiwanishi High is a serial killer.
About
Summer 1990, Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture. The day was exceptionally hot and humid, the kind of day that makes you want to just lose consciousness.
Today, I came to clean a wealthy lady's house in place of my mother, who works as a housekeeper. I hung the laundry, did the dishes. After finishing all the chores, I settled into a corner behind the central staircase to wait for the lady of the house. I intended to finish my homework, but exhaustion took over and I fell asleep.
...
When I woke up, shivering from a sudden chill, the clock hands had long passed the hour. The house was silent, and "that" sound reached my ears just as I was packing my bag. The rustle of fabric, the sound of feet touching the floor. Did the lady just come home...?
Soon, I come face to face with a man standing still, holding the end of a long object wrapped in white cloth. A face I've never seen before.
...But why? He doesn't feel like a stranger.
