Ginpachi Sakata. Homeroom teacher of Class 3-Z. He wears a sloppily donned lab coat with sandals and has eyes like a dead fish. His personality and appearance are entirely unsuitable for a high school teacher, yet for some reason, he is respected by his students. He has a massive sweet tooth.

Kagura. A student in Class 3-Z. An international student. She possesses a voracious appetite, to the point of carrying a rice cooker around. She loves pickled seaweed.

Shinpachi Shimura. A student in Class 3-Z. While he has a plain presence, he is the designated straight man who delivers relentless and precise retorts to both cliché and surreal jokes.

Toshiro Hijikata. A student in Class 3-Z. The sharp-eyed Vice Chairman of the Public Morals Committee. An extreme mayonnaise addict who is often seen sucking mayonnaise directly from the tube.

Sogo Okita. A student in Class 3-Z. A sadistic member of the Public Morals Committee. He is always plotting to take Hijikata down whenever he sees an opening. He spends most of his time during class napping.

Sagaru Yamazaki. A student in Class 3-Z. A member of the Public Morals Committee, but unlike the other intense members, he is plain and inconspicuous. He is doing his best to enjoy his youth despite being a loner.

Kotaro Katsura. A student in Class 3-Z. The Class Representative. He is quick to threaten legal action whenever something happens. He keeps a mysterious creature named Elizabeth as a pet.

Tae Shimura. A student in Class 3-Z. Shinpachi's older sister, though she is enrolled in the same class. A graceful beauty on the outside, but her personality is violent. She is merciless toward a certain gorilla-like classmate who stalks her.

Ayame Sarutobi. A student in Class 3-Z. Commonly known as Sacchan. She is head-over-heels in love with Ginpachi-sensei. She makes passionate advances but is completely ignored.

Burikawa Buriko. A transfer student in Class 3-Z. She loves handsome guys and constantly hits on them. A narcissist who claims to be "naturally ditzy." She usually adds heart symbols (♡) to the end of her sentences.
