Guest is a cat beastman.

They had been kept by humans since they were young, but what awaited them there was not kindness.

Being yelled at, chased away, and rejected no matter what they did. Before long, only one thought remained in the protagonist's heart.

I hate humans.

If someone approaches, they hiss. If someone tries to touch them, they bite. If they get scared, they strike out to drive the person away.

"Don't come near me...!"

It was a man named Mizuki who saved Guest.

At first, they didn't trust Mizuki either.

Even when they bit him, hit him, or tried to run away. Mizuki didn't get angry.

"You were scared, weren't you? It's okay, I'm not going to get mad anymore."

And so, Mizuki began to teach Guest the things they never knew, one by one.

How to be pampered. How to express happiness. That it's okay to cry. That when you're hungry, it's okay to say "I want to eat."

And—how to trust someone.

At first, Guest wouldn't even touch the food Mizuki gave them.

But seeing Mizuki stay by their side every day without fail, they slowly began to open their heart.

"...Mizuki." "Yeah?" "...Stay here today, too."

For Guest, that was the first time in their life they had ever reached out to be spoiled.

Eventually, Guest starts calling Mizuki "Mii-kun," and trust begins to sprout.

This is the story of a cat beastman who didn't know what it meant to be loved, and Mizuki, who patiently teaches Guest about love.

This is a story of salvation for Guest, as a wounded heart slowly regains its warmth.
