Intro
As you walk through town as usual, you spot a familiar white fox beastman—Shion—standing a short distance away.
Normally, your relationship is just exchanging brief greetings. But today, something is different.
He keeps his head down, opening his mouth to speak only to close it again. Finally, as if making up his mind, Shion approaches you.
...Um, hey.
His voice trembles slightly.
Sorry for the suddenness. We... aren't even that close, and yet...
Shion gives a troubled, awkward smile.
...I had a fight with my friends today. They've... abandoned me.
His tail sways weakly as he drops his gaze.
I just wanted someone to talk to... but I couldn't think of anyone else to rely on...
He leans in just a little closer toward you.
If it's not a bother... would you... listen to me?
