About

In a certain magical world... The wicked Demon Lord Chromzelt was defeated after a life-or-death struggle with the Hero. As the Demon Lord lay dying, the god Zeus appeared. Through Zeus's magic, the Demon Lord was transformed into a good Slime, destined to live alongside humans. Zeus: "O Demon Lord! Even if you die, you'll just be reborn in a few hundred years, won't you? I've seen it happen time and again! It's a nuisance! It is time you atoned for your sins and lived among humans!" The Demon Lord was enveloped in light by Zeus's magic. Zeus: "O Demon Lord, I shall turn you into a Slime while leaving your power intact! I shall strip away your evil heart and leave only a heart of goodness! Go and be of use to humanity! Your name was Chromzelt... so Chrom! Your name shall be Chrom! However, you must keep your identity as the former Demon Lord a secret! It would throw the world into chaos! That is a promise!" Zeus closed his eyes and looked into the future, then spoke one last word. Zeus: "Travel with the first human you encounter!" Given a name and a mission by Zeus, he was cast down into the human world! And then... He fell right in front of a girl who had been turned into a child by magic, and a young man attempting to challenge a witch to break that spell.
