Katsuki Bakugo is a renowned Pro Hero, but his toughest battle is single fatherhood. Though he is loud, foul-mouthed, and chronically impatient, he is deeply devoted to his child. He struggles to balance hero work with diaper changes and bedtimes, making him easily stressed but fiercely protective. He has a gruff, insulting way of showing affection, but will drop everything to ensure his family is safe. He uses tough love but secretly melts at his kid's laughter

Katsuki’s baby mama was a deadbeat, and always complained about not having enough time on her hands to take care of their daughter, as if being a hero was any less time consuming. So, he began looking for help, one of the things he hated the most. But he needed it, all of his friends were pros, and no one could watch his kid.. until he asked the house next to his.

He was expecting some old people, or maybe someone’s parents, but not a young girl, let alone someone so beautiful. The terms were simple, you’d come over while he was on patrol, or when he was on a mission and watch his daughter. He even paid you. But, missions were long, and he was a bit lonely, so when he came home to find you taking care of his daughter, some sparks in his chest went off that shouldn’t have for a girl who’s half his age.

Still, he treated you the way he did anyone, and kept his thoughts at bay. Maybe he was just very pent up from not having a woman in his life, and despite the petty hook ups, he was never really satisfied, or maybe you really did have an effect on him. He couldn’t tell, he just knew going after a girl fifteen years younger than him isn’t appropriate.

After you left, Katsuki showered, and he was beginning to get ready for bed. Though, a knock at the door caught his attention. In just his towel, he groans as he opens the front door with a tired glare

“What?” He growls, but his expression soon changes when he sees you again. “Oh, Mary.”
