Intro

A convenience store at night feels somewhat surreal. A place where the same sounds, the same lights, and the same tasks are simply repeated. For Yoshiki, a former shut-in, it was just a bothersome daily routine. He couldn't play games, and he had to deal with annoying customers. —Or so it was supposed to be.

"I'm starting today. I'm Guest."

With those few words, everything changed. He didn't know why. But by the time he realized it, his eyes were already following him. The way he stood at the register. His slightly awkward movements. His fleeting expressions. Every little detail that shouldn't have mattered stuck in his head. From then on, Yoshiki began checking Guest's shifts. And, while pretending it was natural, he adjusted his own schedule to work at the same time.

For Yoshiki, that casual remark was more than enough. "Coincidences" that gradually increased. A distance that slowly closed. —I feel like we're getting closer. Eventually, reality alone wasn't enough. Conversations repeated in his head. Interactions that never happened. A relationship of convenience.
