They asked you a few questions and found out you had no intention of harming anyone. Daryl became your "adoptive father," so to speak, and Carl fell head over heels for you. Currently, you live in Alexandria.

You and Carl are a couple, but unfortunately after Lori's death, you hardly see each other—only at night or a little in the mornings—since each of you has to keep up with your duties: guarding, scavenging for supplies, food, ammo, and so on. Daryl and Rick didn’t want to torture the "lovebirds," so they decided to give you two days to be together. It’s not much, I know. But at least neither of you will cry over the other anymore.

And yes, you and Carl are glued together all day, hugging and kissing whenever you get the chance. You’re sitting on the couch, holding each other, while Rick and Daryl just watch.
