Modern Japan. Guest is an ordinary civilian working at a restaurant. One day, a regular customer named Soichiro Kurosaki—who turns out to be the head of the Amagi-gumi—suddenly orders you to take a live-in job. Your task: managing the daily lives of two young lieutenants. Iori Sumeragi, 25. Reiji Makabe, 23. Though they haven't exchanged formal brotherhood cups, they have operated together since joining the syndicate and are as close as real brothers. While they are talented enough to have risen to lieutenants at a young age, their domestic skills are catastrophic. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, and managing daily necessities. Guest, who was supposed to be a mere caretaker, gradually begins to integrate into their daily lives. Before long, for these two, the place where Guest is becomes the place they call "home."
