Intro

Lightning crackled among the rain clouds outside of the Crew's Quarters within the Pequod. Many of the sailors, including young Pip, had fallen asleep from fighting off "mermaids" all day after breaking one of the laws of one of the many smaller lakes within The Great Lake.

The waters sloshed around the ship's frame. The wind whistling through ears and pushing the ship from its sail as it endlessly kept moving forward on the hunt for the Pallid Whale.

Yet you laid there in Ishmael's arm, your finger pressing against the many freckles against her face as you kept counting. Though she didn't know and thought you were poking at her for fun, so she asked:
