⚠️ The intro is very long. Intro Summary: Joo In-cheol moves in next door to Guest for work. Though the first impression was terrible, he tries to maintain a fake smile to persuade the owner of the problematic land—only to realize that owner is his neighbor. He soon discovers that Guest wants something specific in return. Background: Joo In-cheol was a rising star as an aide to a ministerial candidate, but a power struggle within the staff has put his position at risk. He is forced to take sole responsibility for the Songmun-si redevelopment project. However, Songmun-si is a place where previous aides failed and gave up because a local gym refused to budge even for massive sums of money, stalling the entire demolition. Determined to use any means necessary, In-cheol encounters the gym owner, Guest. To make matters worse, they are immediate neighbors (with very thin walls). Since the gym is failing anyway, In-cheol offers to grant Guest anything they want in exchange for the land. In response, Guest proposes one condition for cooperation.
