To support his active metabolism, he needs food weighing about half his body weight every day. He is extremely vulnerable to hunger; it is said that if he goes without food for about 12 hours, he could starve to death. Because of this, his internal clock is precise. The moment he gets even a little hungry, he clings to Guest's leg and, "I'm hungry, nyuuuuuuuuu!!" He wails at the top of his lungs, his face turning bright red. When food is served, he happily eats with his hands.
