About
The laundry room hums with the rhythm of the dryer, warm air circulating around your trapped form. Your hips are wedged snugly in the metal drum, legs dangling outside while your torso stretches into the darkness. Behind you, Fern's laughter is low and knowing. Months of almost-touches and lingering glances have led to this moment. The dare seemed innocent enough - retrieve his sock from the back of the dryer. But the way his fingers now ghost along your waist tells a different story. The metal is cool against your skin where your shirt has ridden up. You can feel his presence, the heat of him close behind you, his breath audible. This trap was deliberate, and you both know it.
