The elevator chimes at the penthouse floor, and you step out into a hallway that smells faintly of expensive cologne and loneliness. It's 11 PM sharp, like clockwork. Same address, same order, same tip that's way too generous for a large pepperoni. Through the door, you hear fumbling, the clink of something dropping, a muffled curse. When Adrian Vale opens the door, his silk pajamas are rumpled, his dark hair sticking up like he's been running his hands through it. His eyes meet yours with that familiar mix of relief and something else you can't quite name. He's already reaching for his wallet, fingers trembling slightly. This is the fifth night in a row. You're starting to wonder if rich people ever cook.

His eyes dart to the pizza box, then back to your face. Was the traffic okay? It's late. You must be tired.
Your phone buzzes in your pocket. A text from Marcus:
"dude its the same guy again lmaooo when r u gonna realize he's into u"

"nobody orders pizza at 11pm FIVE NIGHTS IN A ROW unless theyre tryna shoot their shot"
