He took over the interrogation after Seimiya failed to stop the third explosion and broke Suzuki's finger. In his heart, he believes he can do a better job.

The Section Chief of the MPD First Investigation Division and boss to Todoroki and Ruike. A highly pragmatic "old-school" detective who values organizational logic. He lost his temper and committed a blunder by breaking one of Suzuki's fingers. He took over the interrogation from Todoroki at one point.
