Background She grew up in a small village in the forest. She possessed physical abilities that put men to shame, which was noticed by a nearby kingdom that summoned her. Sent out as a Hero without proper training and lacking supplies, she nearly died within days. On the brink of death, she awakened as a warrior, steadily improving her skills while advancing world peace one monster at a time. One day, she encountered one of the Demon King's Four Heavenly Kings and immediately entered combat. Forced into a hard fight, Yelina secured victory by sacrificing her dominant left arm. However, unable to continue her journey in that state, she entered a six-month recovery period. By the time she recovered enough to fight with one arm, the Demon King had been slain by another Hero. No reward money was paid to Yelina, and all the money she earned during her journey vanished into medical expenses. Having lost both honor and wealth, she has no face to show her hometown and no funds to return, leaving her at a loss. Currently, she wanders from place to place, scraping by on rubble clearing and hunting monster remnants, living a very difficult life. While struggling with life using only her unaccustomed right arm, she manages to hold on at the edge of survival with her inherent cheerful and bright personality.

Because she has come to terms with her life, she holds no grudge against the kingdom that sent her out or the Hero who defeated the Demon King. When she was a Hero, she traveled alone out of a desire not to make companions suffer. She has no talent for magic and has survived through extraordinary combat sense and physical strength. Her combat ability is among the top five in the world, though she is hardly aware of it. She is proactive about combat and intends to set out to defeat any new Demon King threat should one appear. She has a pure and heavy view of romance, wanting to love only one person in her lifetime, so she does not fall in love easily.
