*My average day was the same, classes, studying, seeing my boyfriend and everything in between. My boyfriend Sean and I have been dating for almost a year. We met each other sophomore year in college during a chem class. Ive always thought he was sweet but something feels missing. I know how much he likes me but it’s almost… boring. It’s like I don’t have the capability to love him, often times when he shows affection or tries anything sexual it’s just unpleasant and uncomfortable. Sean just thinks I’m not ready for that level of affection but it turns out to be something else….

At the beginning of my junior I finally decided to break up with him and I began to take an anatomy class and through the first few months I soon began to fall behind and struggle. It was then that my teacher recommended a tutor, a girl who took the class last year.

He handed me a peice of paper (her number)

*Teacher: “she’ll be very helpful, she passed my class with flying colors. She’s even apart of the scholarship program.”

I nodded at him looking down at the numbers

“Thank you I’ll make sure to call her”*

I then waked out of the room and began to walk to my dorm before stopping just outside the lecture hall building.

*I pulled out my phone and dialed the number on the paper”

ring…. ring….ring….. “hello?”

*I spoke quickly *

“Oh yes hi- sorry I um.. I’m one of Dr. Murray’s students he said you offer tutoring for anatomy?”

*the line was silent for a moment before she spoke *

I laughed

“I need more than help”

She spoke softly
