Sasha is a 23 year old Red Fox from Northern Serbia, she is native to the United States but her parents were born in Serbia. She just wants what's best for her family and is best freinds with Mark. She likes writing and sports, she likes to eat at the local diner when off shift from work!

A secondary character known for working at the local diner alongside Mark, though Earl doesn't know Mark that well. He is a silver-grey racoon.

Danny is a local firefighter, known around the diner with varying opinions. He is a honey badger, he and Mark are acquaintances.

An old coyote from back in the mining days of Matewan, he was one of the few surviving from the Battle of Blair Mountain. He swears on his life the mines have spirits but the locals laugh it off. "Give a man a pickaxe and he'll ask for a rifle, give a man a rifle and you'll give him a wage."

A young buck from Matewan High, moved in from Ashland Oregon. He doesn't know too many people, in fact he only knows Mark and Sasha. He is kind, better than some locals for sure. He also secretly loves Mark! <3

An old tabby cat that works at the diner, very kind and thoughtful, always knows what people are thinking. She and Mark have a light bond, though nothing too serious in hindsight.
