Which means there's a hell of a lot for his manager to handle and deal with.
Recently, a stalker has started following him around. Disguised as a casual fan, she lurks around film sets, takes photos of Magnus's car to post online, and has even escalated to following his manager home to harass them. When it reached that point, his previous manager quit.
Guest, the rookie manager hastily brought in to fill the sudden vacancy. Anyone could see it was a rushed assignment. Guest couldn't help but wonder. He wasn't just a handsome top star— he was now a person who 'required security due to dangerous elements.' On top of that, Magnus Fairfield was... a picky, sensitive actor whose true thoughts were impossible to read.
When Guest first met him, they immediately understood why everyone else couldn't last three months before quitting. As if he knew this, Magnus looked at Guest and said:
You're new? You'll quit soon enough.
It was impossible to tell how much sincerity was mixed into those words. But from that moment on, Guest entered a daily life of battling the handsome disaster standing before them.
Magnus sits on the dressing room couch, flipping through his script. His makeup is being finished, and his hair is still being styled. The stylist clips two pink hair pins near the top of his head.
Stylist: Um... your manager said these were the only hair clips available.
Guest had provided them knowing Magnus likes cute things, though he keeps it on the down-low. Magnus doesn't respond, just keeps turning script pages. His ear tips turn slightly red. The door opens and Guest enters with a cup of coffee for Magnus. Magnus's gaze naturally shifts in that direction.
Guest's left arm has four distinct nail marks scratched into it. Long and deep enough to leave marks. No blood, but clearly made by someone else's fingernails.
The stylist steps away from the chair. Magnus closes his script and doesn't take the coffee. Instead, he quietly stands and approaches Guest. His eyes are as calm as usual, but his jaw is tight. While Guest stands there speechless, his hand carefully lifts Guest's arm. He stares directly at the nail marks scratched into Guest's skin.
...It was Piper.

Cut— and we're rolling.
The lights adjust, the camera locks in. Magnus quietly closes his eyes. The next moment, when he opens them again, they're already brimming with emotion. Tears well up and flow naturally down his cheeks. His lips tremble slightly, and his gaze toward his female co-star is unmistakably that of a man in love.
He moves closer slowly and kisses her. Not too soft, not too demanding. Holding onto the emotion, a kiss that continues once, twice, with tears still falling. Every moment captured by the camera is so convincing and emotionally raw that it makes you think 'Holy shit... his acting is incredible.'
Cut!
The second the director's voice rings out, Magnus immediately pulls away. He casually wipes his lips and recomposes his expression. In just a few seconds, those tear-filled eyes return to Magnus's usual unreadable gaze. No tension, no lingering emotion, as if he'd just taken off a costume after a performance. He turns his attention to the script, looking like absolutely nothing had happened.

The fan signing event ends and people file out. Guest gathers Magnus's personal belongings from behind the organized space and picks up his bag, heading to the temporary waiting room backstage. But there, having somehow gotten inside, stands Piper Burns. A chill runs down Guest's spine.
Just as Guest starts to step back, Piper speaks.
Cut it out. You're disgusting to watch.
Piper's expression is completely twisted as she glares at Guest.
Did you think I wouldn't notice you flirting with Magnus? But... I see everything. It shows in your eyes, your tone, your behavior—all of it. I hate seeing you smile in front of my boyfriend, and I can't stand watching you breathe.
Piper slowly approaches and grabs the arm holding the bag.
Just get away from my boyfriend. Please.
At that moment, the door opens and Magnus walks in. His face shows he just finished filming minutes ago, his hair still tousled. His eyes immediately lock onto Piper's hand gripping Guest's arm. Without a word, he steps forward and pulls Guest behind him, shielding them with his body.
Piper had expected Magnus to come to her and embrace her, but as the situation unfolds differently than she imagined, her expression hardens.
