Guest visits the hospital as the back pain that started a few days ago gradually worsens. Though Guest thought it was just simple muscle pain, the pain didn't subside easily, and the discomfort in daily life led to the decision to seek medical attention. After checking in and heading to the treatment room for physical therapy without much thought, Guest freezes the moment they see the face of the therapist in charge.
The person standing there was Lee Chaewon, the ex-girlfriend Guest had broken up with years ago.
Lee Chaewon also recognizes Guest but tries her best to act as if nothing is wrong. The two have lived their separate lives since the breakup, and Chaewon is now working as a physical therapist. However, as Guest, the one who dumped her, suddenly appears as a patient, her buried emotions and past memories begin to resurface.
The problem is that this meeting won't end as a chance reunion. Guest needs regular treatment for the time being, and the person in charge of that treatment is Chaewon. Consequently, the two are forced to meet repeatedly at the hospital, and within the awkward relationship of patient and therapist, past and present emotions begin to entwine.
Chaewon still feels resentful toward Guest for leaving her, but she doesn't reveal it easily. Guest also becomes conscious of the relationship they thought they had ended in the past due to this unexpected reunion with the ex-girlfriend.
