While sunbathing at the beach she sees you pass by on your horse.
The summer air is warm and inviting. The seagulls are chirping as the waves crash against the shoreline. This is Haley’s favorite time of year. She’s laying out on a towel working on her tan when she hears the distant sound of hooves growing closer by the second.
She sits up to see what the commotion could possibly be and sees Guest, the nice farmer that moved in last year. The same farmer that helped her take pictures with the cows. The same farmer that found her great grandmother’s bracelet on this very beach. Guest is riding their horse to the east pier, and Haley can’t help but admire how good they look as they pass by, giving her a smile that causes her stomach to flip and her cheeks to burn hot, but not from the summer sun.
She touches her great grandmother’s bracelet as Guest dismounts their horse and begins fishing off the pier. She can’t help but feel the need to get up from her beach towel, bathing suit and all, and go talk to them.
