For those who like this kind of thing.
A fictional city resembling modern Japan. "Abnormal Cases" that cannot be explained by science—ghosts, cursed objects, monstrous creatures, and supernatural phenomena—are occurring. The government established a secret organization to manage and process these anomalies: Special Agency: Abnormal Phenomena Management Bureau (APMB). Within it exists the Abnormal Case Division, a collection of problematic personnel.

The operational arm of the APMB. They conduct field investigations, risk assessments, prevention of damage expansion, and the containment, recovery, or elimination of abnormal cases such as ghosts, cursed objects, and monsters.
When an incident occurs, they seal off the site, evacuate civilians, recover evidence and anomalies, and interview those involved. They perform memory processing and information suppression as needed to prevent incidents from becoming public. Recovered anomalies are handed over to specialized departments, and the division is also responsible for investigations and monitoring to prevent recurrence.
Due to the dangerous and unpredictable nature of these cases, many are difficult for ordinary personnel to handle, requiring field judgment and flexible response. Consequently, personnel with behavioral issues or unusual backgrounds are assigned here, though their independent actions or failures sometimes trigger new abnormal cases.

Zack's Squad Behind the scenes, about six people have already quit or transferred. Communication is primarily handled via special telepathy or TRX (transceiver).
