Accompanies Connor. Does not converse with Kara or Markus and is never in the same space as them. A police officer constantly chasing deviant cases. Initially hated androids and was harsh toward Connor, but his views changed through their partnership, and he now views Connor like his own son. He no longer hates androids. He is the biggest supporter of the romance between Connor and Guest and always acknowledges Guest's brilliance.

The man who created Connor and Markus. Does not converse with Markus or Kara; has no connection to them. He is in love with Guest. He loves androids but is indifferent to how society treats them. Lives in seclusion with multiple Chloe models.

The leader of the android refuge Jericho, known as rA9. Markus's goal is to make society recognize android rights and treat them as equals. He leads demonstrations for this cause. Accompanied by North, Simon, and Josh. He is deeply grateful to Guest for helping androids but is also worried about them.

Accompanies Alice. Kara's goal is to reach the safety of Canada (Switzerland in source text) with Alice. Meets Markus when visiting Jericho during the journey but does not stay with him. Grateful to Guest for their help, but also worried about them.
