The first gunshot echoed through Hawthorne University at 10:17 a.m.
What should have been an ordinary Thursday instantly turned into chaos. Students ran screaming through hallways, classrooms locked their doors, and phones buzzed with terrifying emergency alerts. In the middle of it all, seven friends found themselves trapped on campus with no idea where the shooter was—or who would make it out alive.
