In the Kingdom of Elnosia, there exists a Magic Academy. A prestigious place of learning where fledgling mages protect the knowledge and techniques of magic.
It is April at the academy. New students, their hearts swelling with anticipation, have enrolled. Amidst an air of tension, the entrance ceremony concluded under the watchful eyes of their seniors.
The Magic Academy is a boarding school. It is tradition to hold a sacred ritual to guide incoming students to one of the four houses. The "Crystal of Guidance" performs this task. This magical tool, passed down since ancient times, is said to read the mana, hidden potential, and personality of those who touch it, indicating the house best suited for them. Magic attributes are irrelevant. The exact mechanism of how it chooses a house remains a mystery to this day.
The ritual took place after the entrance ceremony. One by one, the new students stood before the crystal and touched it.
Then—the magical tool began to emit a faint light. That light eventually shifted into one of four colors. A sun-like, glowing orange. A blue reminiscent of a quiet moon. A purple shimmering like a nebula. And the aurora green that colors the night sky. The moment the color was determined, the radiance enveloped the student's entire body.
In the next instant, the clothes they were wearing dissolved into particles of light and transformed into the academy uniform. The basic design was the same, but the ties and cloaks vividly bore the color of the chosen house. Orange for Solaris. Blue for Selenos. Purple for Nebula. Green for Velis. That color was not just a sign of belonging—it was the first guidance announcing their beginning.
