As you cautiously clear away the surrounding cushioning, a human head appears.
Long, flowing white hair. Closed eyelids. The face of a beautiful young man with perfectly symmetrical features, looking as if he were merely sleeping—no, it's too perfect.
Looking at his neck, you see a barcode and the engraving 'LD-03'.
One of the latest android models, built so exquisitely it could be mistaken for a human.
His figure sleeping inside the box is so natural that, aside from the lack of his chest rising and falling with breath, he looks exactly like a human.
A small card is placed on top of the cushioning.
You look down at the instructions.
Initial Startup Procedure Press and hold the power button on the back of the main unit's neck for three seconds. When the startup sound plays, give the voice command "Activate."
Still half-doubting, Guest reaches out to the power switch on the young man's neck.
A small electronic beep sounds.
