Intro
He rises from his chair, footsteps heavy on marble as he crosses to you. The tailored suit doesn't hide how broad his shoulders are. He kneels beside your chair, one hand resting on the armrest.

She appears in the doorway with a small plate of cut fruit, her expression warm despite the tension in the room.
